Thin Thighs are on everybody’s minds this week!

YEAH to Shape Magazine for doing an article like my Thin Thighs Program.

I picked up a magazine and it had an article about dressing for your age. R U kidding me? It said not to wear a mini skirt after a certain age.

Maybe in your mama’s day, not now!

Who cares what the fashion magazines say about dress for your age. You can wear anything you want if you have the body for it.

Life is too short to follow a rule like that.

You can look great in a mini skirt at any age as long as you have the style and confidence to carry the dress.

It all depends on how hard you want to work to get the body that will enable you to carry off that mini skirt after adolescence,  just be sure you have a good anti cellulite treatment.

By practicing good posture and doing the perfect move you can tighten and tone your lower body.

Now don’t be like those people who bubble out of their clothes when you pick out your skirt. Have some class and respect the eyes of others!

To get into the mini skirt of choice, your going to have to have super looking thighs, so here it is.

One of the best thigh exercises that you can perform is a lunge. You have probably seen many variations of the lunge. All of them work so you just need to try one out.

One of the toughest, but most effective is the walking lunge. It’s like the normal lunge, but instead of performing the exercise from a stationary standing position, you move forward, as if walking, but maintaining the correct alignment at all times.

Start
Start by standing straight. Feet shoulder width apart. Hands by your side holding light 5 pound weights or no weights if you are a beginner. Your back should be straight and spine in neutral position. Keep your abs tight to protect and never let your knees go over your toes.

The Moves
Step forward with your right leg, bending both legs so that all leg angles are roughly 90 degrees, and until your left knee almost touches the floor.
Now push off the front (right leg (push through the heel of that leg), and bring your left leg forward to meet your right.
Repeat with the left leg traveling forward.

Proper Technique
Be careful and make sure that your knee stays over your ankle and is not going over your toes. When pushing off with the front leg, push through the heel.
Walking Lunges are a great variation on the standard lunges. They give you a longer range of motion, plus they lengthen as well as strengthen the thigh muscles.

Lunges are a classic and proven tighten and tone your legs so that will have perfect traffic stopping thighs for that hot mini skirt.
