2 sets of 12 repetitions per exercise with a weight that gets moderately difficult at the 8th rep

    2. Leg Extension
    3. Leg Abductors
    4. Leg Adductor
  • Lat Pulldown
    Seated Lat Row
  • Tricep Pressdown
    Bicep Curls
  • Abdominal Machine 3 sets of 15 Repetitions

If you follow the suggestions above while keeping your cardio going five times per week you will keep your body tight and lean. In the morning, I start my day with my fat-burning detox skinny tea. Let your bathroom mirror and your new favorite smaller jeans be your cheerleader. Encourage yourself, motivate yourself. Be the absolute best you can be. Your true friends will be there for you and your user friends will be haters and fade away and try to guilt or talk you out of getting a hot body!

Another way to firm up your body and lose excess body fat is by doing body shaping. Guys generally don’t have a cellulite problem like women, but they do struggle with belly fat. If you are overweight, larger than you want to be, and have cellulite, sometimes it feels impossible to lose weight and get rid of the lumps and bumps cellulite creates. Getting rid of cellulite cannot only reshape your body, but can create a more firm, toned, energetic, and fat-free body! Shape, Firm, Tone!

Here is another wonderful DIY regime my models rave about! It is great to eliminate excess body fat not only on your thighs but also on your buttocks and waist. I use waist trainers to slim my waist and so do my celeb A-List clients. Its wonderful to know that you can shape your body even if you can’t workout.

Here is the Anti Cellulite Regime I use and many of the most elite body fitness models do the following to get an amazing body:

  1. They use some sort of anti-cellulite cream to work on reducing dimples, firming skin and reducing puffiness. (You can use my cream.)
  2. When I compete, I wear a body shaper, waist trainer or cincher just like the tiny waisted Columbians with the perfect hourglass bodies. To get this body, I wear my shaper.
  3. They use Retinol and Matrixyl to make and keep their skin even toned, firm, wrinkle free, smooth and totally glowing, its better than the ones the models use.
  4. They take Fat Burners to Suppress their appetite, raise metabolism, and increase energy and block fat from returning.

6. You Have To See It To Be It! Visualize Your Success

You have to see it in order to be it! Visualizing your goals is the #1 master success technique and ultilized by of the greats like Michael Phelps and Gabby Douglas, and Tony Robins just to name a few. Here is how it is done…

I did a book tour with Jack Canfield, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series. It was an amazing time in my life.  I remember sharing with him in conversation one of the things we had in common, which was using visualization techniques, to accomplish our goals in life. He used visualization to get his series published, and I have used it in every endeavor in order to secure success.

It is a practice we teach our athletes when I am conducting trainings with Nike and when I am training Olympic athletes. There are numerous studies that concur that mind sees in pictures. It’s how your brain wants to solve your problems.

Using visualization techniques to focus on your goals and desires accomplishes four very important things.

1.) It activates your creative subconscious, which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goal.

2.) It programs your brain to more readily perceive and recognize the resources you will need to achieve your dreams.

3.) It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals.

4.) It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.

Here are the steps I use every day to ensure I am in mental alignment with my dreams, goals, and aspirations:

  1. I chose a picture of my goal.
  2. I make myself comfortable by finding a quiet space and focus on my breathing. I relax.
  3. I see the image of success I desire and allow my mind to wander with the image. I do a quick mind-movie of my goal from start to finish. It’s important to hold this image and heightened feeling for at least 20 seconds, but 10-15 minutes is ideal. In a pinch, 60-seconds will work great too!
  4. I take time to see myself ALREADY having accomplished my goal.
  5. I do this every day.
  6. I don’t worry about the HOW. I often don’t know how I will accomplish my goal. That’s okay. I don’t have to know-how. I just see myself experiencing what it will feel like, and how my goal will impact my life and the lives of others.
  7. I take inspired action. This is the action I think will help me reach my goals. The more you take time to visualize; you will find that the answers and opportunities come to you. It’s fun and amazing at the same time.

Now It’s Your Turn! Choose a mental image of yourself achieving your goal. Hold this image in your mind’s eye as you go through your daily visualization process. How will it feel to be at your goal of having your best body back? Capture a visual of your celebration of having a body free of excess fat, with tons of energy and focus and in the best shape of your life! Visualize daily.

After you become skilled at visualization you will be able to do it anywhere, but in the beginning, a quiet space is a must.  Visualization releases any ‘hidden’ resistance you may have that will sabotage you and allows the brain to do its job and make you happy. So, what have you got to lose? Use these simple steps to incorporate visualization into your daily routine for 30-60 days and see what happens!

I personally love to have my clients do and do a few slimming wraps at home.

By eating healthy, staying hydrated, detoxing and doing the right exercise while practicing good posture you can look super fine.  You also must the doing the moves that give you the right shape.  Not every move does that. Some moves make you blocky, thick or stumpy looking.  But when doing good lengthening and firming moves, you can tighten and tone your lower body pretty quickly. If you train with a good well-rounded program you can be Mini Skirt ready after  a few weeks.

Let’s get to work so you have super looking thighs, so here it is.

Alternating Reverse Lunge

 

One of the best thigh exercises that you can perform is a reverse lunge. You have probably seen many variations of the lunge. All lunge moves work. So if you have your favorite one, please do that. but I really prefer a reverse lunge. It’s like the forward lunge, strengthens your quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves but not allow your knees to extend beyond your toes. Ig you have bad knees, do not do this exercise, see your physical therapist for an alternative.

It is one of the toughest, but most effective and safest for the knees. It’s like the normal lunge, but instead of performing the exercise from a stationary standing position and then you step backward instead of forward  maintaining  correct spine alignment at all times.

Alternating Reverse Lunges

You can do it with a bar resting on your trapezius; holding dumbells or no weight at all.

  • Start in a standing position with a bar resting on your traps, a set of light to medium dumb bells in your hands or with  Your on your hips or hanging at your sides. Keep you head in alignment with your spine, your chest up, with your feet shoulder-width apart. This will be your starting position.houlders over your hips, and chest up.
  • Begin the movement by taking a step to the rear behind you, allowing your hips and knees to flex to lower your body. Your weight should transfer to the ball of the foot until your knee nearly touches the ground or to a level that feels safe for you. hold it one count then press off the floor with that foot and return to starting position. When moving, always use slow and controlled movement, paying close attention to proper mechanics and posture. The knee should stay in line with the foot, contract your core muscles to help with balance, endurance, alignment, and control. Do not lean forward or backward, keep your shoulders over your hips.
  • After holding for one to two counts, return to the starting position by driving through the heel of the front leg to extend the knees and hips.

This movement can be done completely on one side before switching or can be performed in an alternating fashion.

 Lunge Training Frequency: Do 20 repetitions of this exercise per set on each side. Repeat until you’ve completed 3 sets.
 Make sure you warm up and stretch before and be sure to stretch after too.

You should start seeing and feeling results in as little as two weeks if yo clean up your diet and go low carb and replace unhealthy snacks with Matcha Tea Green smoothies.

Proper Technique

Reminder: Be careful and make sure that your knee stays over your ankle and is not going over your toes. When pushing off with the front leg, push through the heel.

This is an idea of how I eat and train. This is my schedule when I am not on a set, at a rehearsal, working with a client or doing interviews and skype training.

First off, thank you for the great feedback! I got an email asking for my personal daily diet and workout.

First of all, I get up when I wake up. I don’t use an alarm. I sleep between 6 to 8 hours a night. Everybody is different and I go with my body’s natural clock.

I had a green smoothie and skinny tea then headed out the door.
I went to my chiropractor, Dr. S and I was a structural mess! He said my C-2&3 were out. I had one arm longer than the other. My T-5&6 were out and my right ribcage was out of alignment and my sacrum was also out of alignment. I went because i had pain in my knee, my traps were stuck around my ears from tension and my Psoas was hurting. I have been going to a Chiro for most of my adult life. It structurally aligned. If your car is out of alignment, you don’t just buy new tires, you get the alignment fixed. That’s how I look at my spinal alignment.

By Wednesday, my knee will stop hurting, my arms will be the same length which will help me with my weight lifting. When I trained on Saturday, one arm was stronger than the other. The adjustment will even everything back out.

Okay here’s my food and training schedule:

I am very disciplined and I like to follow a regular schedule. I am the type of person who knows that I cannot function in chaos and disorder. I have to set myself up to succeed. I have to surround myself With positive people and an atmosphere that creates good vibes. I only buy food that serves my body and my purposes. I use to allow other people to lead me to overeat, stress out abandon my desire for a fit body.

I get up between 7:00 -8 AM.
I take my favorite liquid vitamin drink mixed with 4 oz. of Sobe Lean diet peach drink. I let the digestion happen for about thirty minutes while I wonder around the house speaking positive and powerful affirmations about how awesome my day is going to be. I speak my day before it happens. I believe that what you think about comes about, so I speak awesome prophecies about my day and the people I am going to meet and work with.

While I make my food I listen to a positive uplifting message, then I watch a muscle training DVD to get inspired to train, then I listen to educational material or something educational on the way to the gym. I love to learn and I love to learn and I love to eat, so I do both in a healthy and positive manner.

Train on my Gym Days
I do some form or movement every morning except Sunday. I take a dance class. I practice Hip Hop, Step Jamm, Lyrical Jazz, and Other forms of Aerobic Dance that keep me fit,  flexible, sharp and sexy. After that, I do some form of cardio for 45 minutes. I do step mill, trekker uphill, stationary bike or treadmill. This is on the three days when I train at night.

Wednesdays-Fridays-Saturdays
12:00- 3:00 Vertical Training Private class

Monday-Tuesday-Thursday
1:00 Lunch on Gym Workout days
I have stir fry vegetables and chicken and beef combination every day with ½ cup of rice. Bowl of fruit ½ hour later. I will also have a gigantic salad with fresh tuna on days when I want a break from the stir fry.

I drink six quarts of water every single day of the week.

4:00 Green drink smoothie just like I have for breakfast on my Gym days
4:00 Lunch on my 3-hour marathon class days

5:00 Gym for my evening workout 3 days per week.

7:00 Dinner
Large Salad
Grilled meat – 4 oz. Beef or Chicken 2 times per week. 6 oz. Fish with vegetables the other five days of the week. I do not eat shellfish or pork.
TODAY’S WORKOUT:
3 sets of 20 Ab Rope Curls @60lbs on the pulley machine
3 sets of 20 Standing Lateral Leg Lifts @20lbs per leg
4 sets of Flat Bench Dumbell Press with combined with crunches – feet up on bench to maximize curl effect (had to lay next to a guy who was wearing more jewelry than me….I hate it when that happens).
Also….Ladies, get your buns into the gym, there were exaclty 35 men training in the section of the Super Gym I was training in tonight. There were two other women besides me and they both had trainers. One lady had a trainer who was MORE OVERWEIGHT than her and the other had a guy that she was arguing about over technique. He was checking out the other guys while he was training her and not helping her with her form and she got pissed off…rightly so!

4 Sets of 8 Lat Pulldowns @75lbs. Dr. S said I need to strech my lats more and strech my spine out. I am so good about being obedient and following directions. I did it tonight because I don’t want to ever look like an old lady with hunch back.. aaaahhh!

Next I did Wide Grip Pullups – 3 sets of 5
Then I just stretched and people watched. I only had two shadows tonight. Those are people who treat me as their star sighting and they follow me around and giggle and do everything I do. i don’t blame them. It’s flattering, plus I use perfect form, i smile, i have jamming music on, today’s music was Fergie’s “Glamorous” updated bass electronic remix. That was the vibe I wanted to express today as I moved around the gym and around the planet. I love being a girl. It’s so much fun and we are made so perfect!

That was my workout and now I am going to try on three of the hottest tightest tops i could find and still breathe and finish my day strutting around to Fergilicious “Delicious”!

This is such a timely question.  Recently I had someone overheat in a workout due to dehydration.  So thank you for your question, this is the perfect time to address water and it’s importance to our bodies.

Drink More, Lose Fat to Weigh Less and Increase Brain Power and Be Unstoppable!  When I fist started dieting, I was a mess. I would do everything I could think of to lose weight but I never drank enough water for my personal metabolic rate and optimum biological state, so I wasn’t losing weight as quickly as I thought I should. Once I got over my fear of weighing too much and started to increase my proper food and water intake to four solid quarts a day, I started to drop inches and lose weight too!

In other words, when I stopped moving in fear and started ingesting more water, my body felt free to eliminate the excess fluid and my weight went down. One week I even lost five pounds by increasing my water intake along with my plan.

I was doing an hour of cardio, following my perfect low-glycemic diet, monitoring simple carbohydrates, getting 8 hours of sleep at night and not eating meals after 7:00 PM. I would go to bed at 11:00 PM and get up at 7:00 AM.

If you are not drinking enough water, your body can become deficiently hydrated, known as dehydration, and can manifest in a variety of ways that wreak havoc on your health and your beautiful body. Ongoing dehydration may cause actual disease as the body struggles to maintain itself without sufficient fluid intake.

Dehydration can also lead to stored excess body fat, cellulite formation, flabby muscles, poor muscle tone, muscle loss, decreased digestion and organ function, bloating, PMS and water retention. Now that should be enough right there to make you run in the bathroom and jump in the shower and stand under the spout for five minutes!

Not drinking enough water can also leads to increased toxicity, joint and muscle soreness, slow recovery time after exercise, injury or surgery. Water works to keep muscles and skin tight and youthful (hallelujah). If you are not losing weight as fast as you would like to and want a quick start to losing weight and healing your body, drink up! Live It Up!   

Water is not just a weight loss inducer, and muscle enhancer; it is essential to for life and necessary for life itself. Water is a fundamental factor in our health. It is fundamental to our total existence. It is so easily overlooked each day because there is such an abundance of it. We wash our clothes in it, we brush our teeth with it, we watch it flow into the sink and wind it’s way down the drain while we are washing dishes. After a warm relaxing bath, gallons of this natural healing agent drain away only to be repeated tomorrow.

Every single cell in your body requires water. Our human survival is dependent on water. It is been classified by scientists as second only to oxygen as necessary for sustaining life. On average, the quantity of water in an adult body could fill 12 one-gallon containers. That means as an average adult your body is somewhere between 55 to 75% water. Up to 2/3 of your body weight is water, 40 to 50 quarts. Your body is made up of water, other mass such as bone & tissue and matter. Jack and the rest of you magnificent beings, you basically are water.

CONSUME FREELY! Therefore, you need to consume approximately 2/12 Qts of water daily to be healthy and metabolically cleansed. Since such a large percentage of our bodies are water, it stands to reason why our health and our bodily functions depend on it. Every process in your body uses water as a catalyst. We can exist without food for up to 2 weeks or more, but we can only survive for a few days without water.

HIGH PERFORMANCE!  I teach all of my high performance clients that I believe it is the single most important nutrient to take in every day. It is calorie free, it’s fat–free and it helps you feel full. Many of us mistake thirst for hunger. When you are sitting around and thoughtlessly jump up to grab a snack, have a glass of water first. Wait five minutes to see if the hunger goes away. In the meantime, keep busy, don’t focus on a snack, focus on the healing effects of the water you just offered your metabolism.

STOP! Buying sodas and expensive coffee drinks for you and your children. They can actually prevent you from losing weight if you drink them instead of water.  Coffee contains caffeine and too much of it can dehydrate you, especially if you live in a warm climate. Stop drinking wine before dinner. It stimulates your appetite and can send you into a low blood sugar state, which can make you irritable, or it can drive you to eat more than you ordinarily would. Ordering sodas at fast food restaurants just because they are cheap or they come with the meal. There is no such thing as free food. There is a price you will be paying later either in poor health, weight gain or low blood sugar anxiety.  So stop teaching your children to drink sugary drinks with their meal, it’s running their health.

How Much? When you are working out and leading an active lifestyle, you need a minimum of 8, 8 ounce glasses a day every single day, seven days per week, 4 weeks per month, 12 months out of the year! Get it?? Your body deserves the best fuel at all times. It is your gift to life in our human form. Let’s honor it and care for it with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The more you exercise beyond sixty minutes per day, the more water you need.

Spread your water intake throughout the entire  day, especially on hot days and the day before you are going to participate in a heavy-duty workout.  When you begin your fluid for life commitment, you will be visiting the restroom more frequently. That’s perfect! You are supposed to go more frequently, this facilitates your body’s flushing, detoxing and cleansing process. Every time you go, you get rid of extra toxic weight and unhealthy substances that your body does not need. How cool is that?   Be patient, it takes about two weeks for your bladder to adjust to the new intake.

Drinking Tips  Tips on water intake help you lose more weight quicker: Drink clean bottled or filtered water Drink a minimum of 64 ounces per day (2 quarts) Drink an additional 8 ounces per day for every 25 pounds over your ideal healthy weight.

Keep a water bottle or your designated water-drinking cup in visible sight in all areas of your life. Make sure there is one in the kitchen, one at your desk or workspace, one in your car and one in your gym bag. If they are out of sight, they are out of mind.

Personally, I have three distinct water bottles and cups that I use. Right now I have a beautiful 16-ounce crystal blue thermal glass that I have sitting by my computer. I drink one per hour. Each day I write for three hours. If I write longer, I drink more. I also have an elegant crystal pitcher of water with shaped cubes in it that I keep on another table that I use to fill up my thermal glass with. I track the number of ounces I drink per day in my food journal.

I also keep an extra water bottle in my workout bag or make sure I keep enough money on me so that I can buy a bottle at the gym. I have two one-quart water bottles in the trunk of my car most times next to my emergency kit. I don’t want to mess up my diet and my health due to a lack of preparation. I am sure you can think of at least ten more ways to make your water consumption more practical and easily accessible for yourself and your family, especially your children. Get them their own special water cup, bottle or glass. Get one for their lunch box.

No one can turn down something that is perceived as special. Begin today teaching them the value of drinking water and help them get excited about it. Make fluid for life a priority for you and your entire family.

It’s six weeks after american new year’s resolution and I am starting to get emails asking “How to Break My Weight Plateau”.  I have some ideas for you.   But first of all I want to thank all of you that made my “How Do I Get Abs” book launch on Amazon.com a global hit!  It was amazing, I made it to number 1! Cutting Carbs Is More Effective Than Low-Fat Diet for Insulin-Resistant Women,Study Finds; Science Daily (June 21, 2010) — Obese women with insulin resistance lose more weight after three months on a lower-carbohydrate diet than on a traditional low-fat diet with the same number of calories, according to a new study.

Time for some new ideas.  If you are experiencing a stall or plateau in weight loss efforts, you are not alone. This occurs from time to time to almost all of us trying to get thinner. However, you first must make sure that you have actually reached a plateau point.

A plateau means that you have gone an extended period of time without losing weight or inches. It’s important to take your measurements before you start your weight loss plan, in addition to your weight. On some weeks it may not seem like you are not losing any weight at all on the scale. But a quick look at your measurements could prove otherwise.

On a higher protein diet you are replacing fat with muscle, which is denser and heavier. You might actually gain a little weight because you are building muscle. The result will be an increase on the scale, but a decrease in your inches. Your body will be smaller and leaner, but you may weigh the same.

Before you start your program, measure your chest, waist, hips, upper arms, thighs and calves. You never know where you may be losing inches, so it’s important to have these measurements to refer to.

It is normal to go through periods where you body is readjusting. Remember that you are reforming the composition of your body and this process will take some time. Check your measurements once a week, just like your weight, and you can track your overall progress.

What Is A Plateau?

There may be periods of 3 to 4 weeks where you have a plateau in weight loss, but a loss in inches. Or vice versa. Using both methods to track your fat loss is the best assurance for an accurate measure of your progress. These stall periods are not a reason to quit or to give up. They are biochemical parts of the weight loss process.

Plateaus may occur more frequently if you are 5 to 10 pounds away from being at your goal weight. By following a low-carb, higher-protein way of eating you have created a lot more muscle in your body. Your muscle-to-fat ratio is higher than ever before, so your body might be resisting losing anymore fat. It may be time to rethink your goal weight. Perhaps your body is trying to tell you something and its time to start maintaining your weight loss rather than trying to lose more.

What Causes Your Scale to Get Stuck?

There are some other possible causes of  plateaus on the road to weight loss. If you’ve gone four weeks with no change in weight or measurements and you are nowhere near your goal weight, you can try a few different methods to get yourself out of the rut. First, make sure your carbohydrate level is in check. If you are eating too many carbohydrate grams per day, your weight loss will stall. Look for hidden carbohydrates in your coffees, alcohol, packaged foods, snacks, dressings and sauces to make sure they aren’t the culprits in your plateau.

 Check your daily water intake. When you are dehydrated, your body will retain water and that can mimic a plateau. Water will also help flush ketones from your system and make more room for new fat burning ketones.

It may be time to eat more.

Under eating can also be a cause for weight loss plateaus. Make sure not to let yourself go hungry and eat smaller, more frequent meals. Remember, you are on a carbohydrate-restricted diet, not a calorie-restricted diet. Make sure to have some protein with every meal and snack. Never go more than 4 hours without eating something (except overnight of course). Also, eat freely from the acceptable foods. Don’t try to count calories or restrict your calorie intake. When your body gets too few calories, it goes into starvation mode and will hold onto fat cells. AAAHH!!

Pump It up!

Increasing your exercise level or adding more slower systemic fat burning cardio can help get you through a plateau as well. As your muscles get used to working out at a certain level, you’ll have to increase the duration or the intensity in order to keep challenging your body. Add a new exercise into the mix, or try increasing more reps into a light weight resistance training circuit.  You don’t need to go to a gym to do cardio. You can so it anyplace.

Trying one of these suggestions will most likely get your weight loss back on track. Remember that occasional stalls are normal, but they do not have to last.

Easy Methods To Prevent And Reduce Cellulite!

If you have a perfect set of thighs and an awesome butt. Go back to what you were doing and skip this informative article. But if you are like me, on a constant quest for sexy legs and a smooth tight behind, keep reading with me.

This is for those people with cellulite or those who desire to prevent it: you are advised to go on a detoxifying diet, including in it many fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoiding black tea, iced tea, coffee and alcohol.

The canned foods also need to be forbidden. Important aspects to have an eye on are the water retainer alimentary substances, which can increase the problem of having cellulite. An example can be the sodium, existing in great amounts in the salt and gravies like Chinese shoyu. Lactose (sugar of milk) can provide the same effect, so it also has to be consumed with moderation. Choose yoghurts and cheeses that possess reduced lactose. It is also important to reduce the fat on the diet, since it contributes for the increase of cells that produce the adipose tissue, consequently leading to weight gaining, and this is extremely related with the advance of the cellulite. Associated to a balanced diet, you must practice exercises regularly.

Drinking water is another very important item to acknowledge. You must drink per day, minimum two litres to hydrate the body; this procedure assesses the kidneys in the toxin elimination and assists in the treatment for cellulite. Here’s a hot tip: besides all these benefits for your body, it fools the stomach by giving it a sensation of satisfaction of already eaten before.

Have a lot of meals in small portions during the day. It makes the digestion easier. You will have less appetite and your organism will have less fat to deposit on those spots we most hate, like thighs, hips, bum, etc.

Be sure to chew properly and slowly. This will slow down the digestion, meaning that the stomach will take longer to send the brain the message of the digestion, diminishing your motivation and will to eat more.

Here are some extra tips to prevent cellulite:

– Lean protein sources must be consumed, for example the egg white, white meat (such as chicken and fish meat) and lean red meat (filet mignon). Instead of fried meals, you can replace it with a grilled or baked preparation.

– Avoid food with too much fat, such as greasy pizzas, gravies, cheese, filled bread and cookies, buttered biscuits, ice-cream, etc.

– Choose having food that lack refined sugar. Some of these are the pasta, potatoes and fruits. If you feel like eating a candy, prefer a cereal bar.

– Avoid using excessive oil during the preparation of the food.

– Foods containing mostly fibre are great sources of energy and help to diminish the absorption of fat, besides contributing for the regulation of the intestine.

– Try to choose eating foods that do not contain salt in its formula, like the diet cookies, margarine without salt, vegetables and natural seasons and spices, for the same reasons mentioned previously about the consequences of having too much salt.

– If you prepare a meal, do not add too much salt during its preparation neither after it’s ready. Here’s an advice: do not place the saltcellar on the table to start with!

– Do not take sodas and alcoholic beverages, because they only provide calories and possess no nutritional value. Prefer juices or water.

– Practice aerobic physical exercises, like jogging, riding bicycle and swimming; these sorts of exercises help to burn fat and calories, consequently decreasing the cellulite.

Here are a couple of foods that my client’s say helps them burn fat and lose weight better.  I have no scientific proof, so I am sharing them with you.

Yesterday I was so busy that I need to stop and grab something healthy, light and satisfying.  I remembered what one of my video diva’s had prepared on the set for her everyday while we were training and rehearsing.

She had lemon, honey and cayenne pepper drinks and fresh citrus fruits made into the most glorious fruit bowl. And by the time she shot the film, she was a tight, lean, sexy, energetic and totally glowing!  And she’s not the only one I worked with doing it.

Fast Fat Burning Foods

So when I was shopping and I saw this delicious grapefruit, bought it with a spoon and went on with my training day. I ate an entire one and I felt so refreshed.  My knowing hunger pangs went away. I felt great.

You can even buy them now in the fresh fruit section of your supermarket little cups already cut and peeled.

These foods are said to have a metabolic thermic effect, (fat burning effect) on the body. Here are four foods to burn fat which are supposed to be effective.

1. Cayenne pepper: Add it to lots of different foods like salads, vegetables, eggs, or any part of a meal.

2. Citrus Fruits: Lemon juice, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruits and tangerines and pomegranates. Plus they are good if you follow a weight loss and nutrition plan that uses the medially time tested and accepted world wide, glycemic index. I do. I will follow it forever. It keeps my weight down, it keeps my blood sugar balanced and I have so much energy and fun. Plus I sleep better and don’t have mood swings.
